Anyone can tell you what walked the runway. We are interested in why it walked, what it borrows from, and whether it will still matter in a year.

Cut, cloth and construction are where meaning lives. We write about proportion and process with the same seriousness other titles reserve for celebrity.

We are not a press-release feed. When something is beautiful we say so; when it is thin, we say that too.
